An exploratory journey into who you are and how that shapes the way you lead. Through the 4Es, you reflect, share experiences, learn from other women and find your own approach to leading.

The 4Es: A Way to Explore Your Approach to Leading

At the heart of every Women Emerging expedition are the 4Es: Essence, Elements, Expression and Energy. Together, they help you understand what shapes how you lead.

Essence
Who you are. Explore the experiences, values and beliefs that shape the way you lead.

Elements
How it shows up in how you lead. Recognise your strengths and what you might want to change or build on.

Expression
How it reflects in your practice. Consider how you lead through your everyday actions, decisions and relationships.

Energy
How it creates the energy for your leading. Bring your Essence, Elements and Expression into alignment to lead authentically.

The 4Es are not a prescribed way to lead. They offer a shared language for reflection and help you find an approach that feels true to who you are.

Types of Expeditions

Women Emerging offers two types of Expeditions: Immersion Expeditions and Accelerators Expeditions.

Both use the 4Es to help women explore who they are and how that shapes the way they lead. They differ in duration, group size and engagement.

Expeditions bring together women around shared themes, aspirations and questions about leading. They can connect women across the world, within a country or from a particular city.

Immersion Expeditions

Accelerators Expeditions

Six months | 2.5 hours per month | 24 participants
A cohort-based journey with peer interaction, reflection and shared learning.

Six weeks | 1.5 hours per week | Up to 1,000 participants
A large-group experience with self-paced learning and workshops.
