Who are we?

Women Emerging is a global, non-profit movement on a mission to reframe leading – so more women choose to lead.

Our first expedition in 2022 set out to find an approach to leading that truly resonates with women. The finding? The act of leading is individual and personal. Though there are common elements, they are not common to all. So rather than developing an approach, they developed a ‘map’, which is now used as the expedition methodology called the 4Es.

Women Emerging invites women to begin their own expeditions and find an approach to leading that resonates with them.

It's not just a leadership programme

We run expeditions because expeditions are brave, bold, ambitious, inspiring, raw, and unpredictable. Our expeditions use our unique, well-tested methodology, which gives them a clear shape. As a result, each explorer finds her own approach to leading.

Expeditions

Expeditions are for groups of 24 women who want to find their own approach to leading. They run over 5 months – explorers commit to 5 hours of exploring each month. Each group is formed around a community, geographical or sectoral. Most expeditions are online, though some groups meet at different points.

An introduction to Women Emerging 4Es methodology. This is a virtual exploration designed for individual women leading, anywhere in the world, to discover the Essence of their leadership—at their own pace and at no cost.

Youth Expedition

Youth Expeditions are designed specifically for younger women, offering two tailored options:

WE16 for 16-year-olds and WEUni for women in universities . Like our other expeditions, these are fully online, providing a dynamic space for young women to explore what it means to lead and connect with a global community.

The WE Hub is a dynamic and ever-evolving free digital library of practical leadership intelligence generated by women. It hosts stories, experiences, and leadership tips.
