This really resonates, Pratibha. I’ve learnt that real power lies in genuine interactions—this is where meaningful relationships are born. I make it a point to truly connect with at least one new person at every event or even during interviews, and I always follow up with a thank-you note. Over time, I’ve also learnt to recognize when a connection is mutual or just a moment—and that’s okay. For me, communication should always flow both ways.
