Women Emerging Community Event

Leading
Without
Authority

21 May 2026 | 60-Minute Virtual Panel
2:00 PM CET / 5:30 PM IST

Leading is not something that starts when you’re given a role.

It’s not defined by hierarchy or position but by your willingness to act, to take responsibility, and to make things better where you are.

Join us for the May Women Emerging (WE) Community Event, an interactive space for women across geographies, generations, sectors, and specialisms to learn, grow, inspire, and be inspired in their leadership journey.

This month’s event is themed “Leading Without Authority”

Youth Expedition

Youth Expeditions are designed specifically for younger women, offering two tailored options:

WE16 for 16-year-olds and WEUni for women in universities . Like our other expeditions, these are fully online, providing a dynamic space for young women to explore what it means to lead and connect with a global community.

What This Conversation Is About

Our May theme, Leading Without Authority explores what it  means to lead beyond formal roles, or titles.

Drawing from the lived experiences of our speakers and the ideas that challenge traditional views of leadership, this conversation will unpack how leadership shows up in everyday actions, not just positions.

Through open dialogue and shared stories, our speakers will reflect on:

  • What it means to lead without formal authority
  • How leadership is built through action, not status
  • The courage to step forward before being “ready” or formally recognised
  • How small, consistent acts shape meaningful leadership over time

This session invites you to rethink leadership—not as something you wait to be given, but something you step into and practise.

Why Attend?

  • Because leadership is often happening long before it is acknowledged.
  • Because many women are already leading — without the title, recognition, or visibility.
  • Because the traditional definitions of leadership are no longer enough.
  • Because leading without a title can feel invisible

Be part of the beginning.

Be part of the conversation.

Be part of a community shaping the future of leading.

If you are not part of the Women Emerging community, this an invitation to be a part of the global shift in leadership and influence generations to come.
